The Truth
Of how a perfect God saved a broken world
God created everything and deemed it good. He made a perfect world, and he loved his creation. However, man disobeyed and sinned against God. We pushed God away and sought to please ourselves, to relish in our brokenness. In doing this, we sentenced ourselves to be condemned to death, and there is nothing we could do to save ourselves. But God is a God of love and mercy, and even though humanity was hostile toward their God, He sought to bring them back to Himself.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to become the sacrificial lamb and take the penalty for your sin. 2 Peter 3:9 states.
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
God cherishes every one of his creations. He cares for you. He desires a relationship and unity.
I know it's a lot to take in, and I suppose it's natural to be skeptical. But I would like to ask you to seriously consider that the gospel is true. What is the harm in research? What is the harm in being intellectually honest and seeking to know the truth? The answer is none. However, I can sincerely tell you that there is a grave danger if you don't pursue the truth. Whatever you find, the truth may be.
